Sally's Great Balloon Adventure is one of many stories about Sally the dog from author and artist Stephen Huneck. Pages filled with colorful images made from a woodcut print are fascinating and bright. Easily I can see this book as being an inspiration for a child to make a book their own. It reminds me of the stories I read while in first grade. Yet even at eleven months old, my daughters eyes are caught with all that is going on. She loves to turn the page, then go back and look at it again. I'm sure that many more adventures with Sally will be forecoming to our bookshelves.
