While I enjoyed the Wallace Girl quite a bit, The Sinclair Heir didn't really work for me for several reasons:
* there were several editing problems, enough that I had trouble getting into the story
* there were some continuity errors that also took me out of the story
* I didn't really connect with the characters here - it felt very distant
* the sex scenes were... kind of boring
* some things that happened had me very surprised, and also affected, however, the characters / narrator glossed it over without looking back
