While Six Months is really well written, I had a lot of trouble understanding the main character April. She has had quite a bit of trouble with loan sharks since her grand-mother died, but instead of discussing this with her friends, she does things in hiding, and ends up in some very bad situations that could have been avoided. She is very close to TSTL syndrome, which made me sad, because I really enjoyed her character in Seven Years!
