Maddy and her husband Max had recently lost their 5 year old daughter to meningitis, just a few months later Maddy gets a knock at the door, it’s the police, they think Max has jumped off a bridge and are searching for his body. Was it grief that drove him to it? With no body found Maddy is convinced he may still be alive and starts to go through his things and make discoveries that will change her life forever.
There were a lot of different twists and turns in this book and some are so unexpected. It is told in three points of view to get the angle from everyone involved and I think this made the book so good. I don’t want to give anything away but I can say that Every Little Secret was a book that I will be thinking about for a long while, it was an intense and compelling read.
