I had picked this book up based on a recommendation that was on Facebook. I was looking for something with a bit of a love triangle and this seemed exactly what I was looking forward. The author put forth a storyline that was compelling, but I couldn't connect with the characters. I wanted Lillian to really sway me one way or another, especially as she finds herself with feelings for both of her FBI protectors. She was so closed off that I found it a little unbelievable that she could fall for Wesson as quickly as she did...considering the guy she'd had a crush on forever has feelings for her. Then there was her missing brother. I expected more from her. More trying to find him, less playing by the rules.

It's a good first try, one which compelled me to buy the second book, but I wanted more from the characters than what we got.
