I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series, [b:Nightshade|7783899|Nightshade (Discarded Heroes. #1)|Ronie Kendig|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1268938513s/7783899.jpg|14643055] it was fast and emotional and a great read. The prologue of Digitalis got my heart pumping and I was excited, but I did not enjoy this read very much. I guess it was because the main female character had my back up so much that I was angry with her through out my whole read. Yet then that shows that she was made real to me from pen to page. I may well be alone and it may be my hormones, but I just couldn't get in to this one. However the first one was awesome and you better believe that I plan on grabbing more titles from Ronie Kendig in the future.
