"People could be bound by so many things, I realized. Fear, hate, shame, unfulfilled longing. I chose right then not to let anything but God have me, ever, not even disappointment if my dreams had to be set aside. I would not live enslaved ever again."
Seeking mother is the third book in the India Street Kids series. In this one we see Jasmine still trying to look for her mother, and willing to take any risk necessary to try and find her. Which she does and ends up causing some destruction along the way.
Jasmine has to not only team up with people living at the compound but also ends up putting her life on the line once again to save others. We also discover who some people were for a change, and got to find end the main leader of the whole trafficking section. It was a triumphant thing and I was so proud of Jasmine, even if at first I did think she wasn't being smart by going to a certain place all on her own...
As with the first two books, this is a story of finding family, and God and trusting in him.
I’m happy for Jasmine and how this story ends, not only does she get what she wants, but she also gets a chance at a new life away from traffickers, and drug lords. It’s everything I could have hoped for her.
