Now onto my review:

I started off reading this book and judging it. Yes, I judged a book by its cover and by a synopsis. Now, I am going to avenge myself. Read this book. It is that good.

I didn’t like Jared’s character at first. I thought he was a douche and being a rock star, he was all about the money and girls. The first chapter certainly painted him like that. But, after he bumped into Callie and Logan, a gradual change came over him and you could just see falling in love with Callie and the promise of what a great father he would be to Logan.

Now, Callie I didn’t like. I mean, she lost her entire family in freak accident when Logan was 1 and that is sad. But, keeping Jared in the dark about his son was wrong. Hey, I get it, she wasn’t thinking straight and she had been listening to her sister (the same sister who told Jared she had an abortion). But not to tell him when he finally did get in her life again and then for him to find out by going through her stuff (which is equally as bad and an invasion of privacy) was wrong.

The romance between Callie and Jared was a slow burn and it was delicious to read. The sex wasn’t that bad either….lol.

My only complaint that it’s a book 2 in a series. But it can be a read as a standalone book.

How many stars will I give My Song for You? 3.5/4

Why? This was a steamy, gritty romance that had some serious feelings going on. I wasn’t expecting how it made me feel.
