I'm really struggling with how to rate this, because while I feel that it's a well crafted idea, I didn't actually enjoy most of it. I think the storyline quickly becomes obvious to anyone who's more than superficially familiar with the topic, and removing the intrigue makes the middle chunk feel more like a slog. I've previously seen several of the YouTube videos that the author's inspiration and research is based on, and I kind of feel like I've cheated the twist, tbh. The ending was the best part, but I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of atmosphere leading up to it. So, I dunno...
