This little novelette was extremely short, and read more like a deleted scene. It easily could have been a prologue or even the first few pages of the first chapter of Gentlemen Prefer Succubi. It's not really essential information, since we get the gist of it in the first book, since Jackie remembers little snippets. This just gives (almost) all of the details. Not exactly worth reading, but not a total waste of time either.
