It was supposed to be a post my-wedding-is-off fling. She never even said goodbye, but there he was in San Francisco, and he was still interested in her.
I love the idea, that Penny was wronged by her fiancé, and when on, what was supposed to be their honeymoon, she meets her true love, AND he is 1000 times better than that garbage fiancé. Great premise, and I love that after months apart, the heat and attraction was still there between these two. I was definitely fully onboard with this premise, and I loved this coupling too. They had great chemistry and their exchanges almost always made me smile. I liked that Ethan surprised me too. He had this reputation, but everything he did and said with respect to Penny defied all that.
Overall, this was a great introduction to this series, and I am interested in meeting more of the Strikers.
