I had high hopes for this book, but unfortunately I didn't like either of these main characters enough to care about the story. Xavier is a giant a-hole who I wanted Lola to kick right in the balls. But Lola doesn't kick him in the balls, she tells him he's an a-hole while falling for his "charm" (which I will say loosely because there was nothing charming about him). Lola's best friend Anna was annoying. The only character that had any redeeming qualities was Sebastian, Xavier's brother, but he's often dismissed and pushed to the back.
The storyline had promise, but with characters like these, it was a stretch for me to finish the book.
