By Night is a new series by Boom! Box. What originally caught my attention to the series was the art style. I know I say that a lot with Boom! Box series, but it’s too. They have such a unique style to them that’s hard to ignore. It’s all bold shapes and bright colors and I just love it.
It took me a little while to get into the groove of things here, but I guess that isn’t terribly surprising considering it’s a new series and all. It’s clear that there’s a lot more going on here than meets the eye. I can’t say for sure what, other than that big obvious hint at the end…
While I’ve grown quite fond of Jane, but I’m having trouble liking Heather. It’s clear that she isn’t telling Jane the whole truth, but without knowing how far that goes it’s hard to be willing to trust even a single word she says. I hope that is revealed soon so I can relax and enjoy things.
