The Club was a very different sort of Erotica. It’s not all about one couple (or triad) coming together and having a lot of hot sex. Instead, it follows several women in various situations. The thing they all have in common is a lesbian sex club. Each chapter focus on one of the women or a couple and their experience during a night at the club. Between each of those chapters is a brief one about Mandy, the owner. It’s not a collection of random scenes though. They’re all connected in some way, and I liked finding those connections. It was also interesting to me how everyone gets something different out of this shared experience.
The one thing that did disappoint me about The Club was the ending. I wanted more! I was hoping that there would be maybe another round of nights at the club. Or circle back around to revisit everybody. The story does leave everyone in a good place, but I would have liked to have seen more. Especially from Lou and Stephanie, as well as Max.
