Abandoning the audiobook with a few hours left to watch the movie instead. The movie apparently is sweepingly romantic and transcendent, and this narration is exceptionally tedious, so much so that the plot twists escape notice, and all you're left with are the names of Mathilde's many cats (Camembert is an inspired choice, however).
