Hot Mess starts off just as the title states, a hot mess. This was my first book by Elise Faber and I will for sure be reading more of her books. I loved the semi-slow build-up of Finn and Shannon's relationship. Shannon is such a strong heroine, Rylie is an adorably cute kid and I loved the attentiveness Finn showed and how he always knew what was needed. I wanted to hurt Brian more and more as the book went along. Other than when Shannon was talking to Brian I think I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading. I look forward to the next Life Sucks instalment.
