This book (#7) concludes the Shadow Children series and it did not disappoint. My husband and I, along with my teenage son and adolescent daughter greatly enjoyed reading these books and discussing them afterwards. As we progressed through the series, there came a point when the story plateaued a bit, and one of the books felt more like a filler than a necessity, but the riveting plot and lively characters outweighed any flaws it had. Excellent story for a young reader (and adults too!) looking for a suspenseful, thought-provoking adventure.
