I DID NOT hate this book. I had a lot of hope for it. And there were a lot of "parts" of it that I liked. I liked Axel and the guys. Dee and Izzy were crazy and somewhat annoying. The crying and the drama was incessant for the 1st half of the book. The never ending internal monologue was not my cup of tea. This book needed some tighter editing as far as content and such. There weren't any huge typos there were some misused words here and there. 2 times a gun was referred to as "medal" as opposed to "metal". Not sure if it just was passed over in the editing process. This book would've been better for me if if wasn't so wordy. We get it. She had a crappy childhood after her parents died and Axel went to the Marines and she lost track of him and then she married a dirt bag who beat her. A lot. But the crying and the breakdowns were just way too much for me. I got to the point where I skimmed to the stuff I wanted to read...which mainly involved Axel, Greg, Maddox and Beck.
I'm going to put Greg's book on my tbr list. Because I love a protective and loving Alpha. I may read it and I hope it's not as crazy and wordy as this one was. And really- once Axel found out everything I liked him and Izzy more and then everyone stopped treating Izzy like a 2 yr old.
Again...didn't hate it. Just had some stuff that didn't work for me.
