After letting this sit for a week without returning to it, I'm taking it back to the library. I can't quite put my finger on why - it might just be a little too serious and meditative for my mood right now. I'm currently enjoying the author's [b:The Killing Circle|3148095|The Killing Circle A Novel|Andrew Pyper|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1214957731s/3148095.jpg|2884694], so it's not a question of quality.
