Pretending He's Mine was too short! It was super cute and had plenty of steamy scenes, but I wanted more from Sutton and Reeve. He's a kind of down on his luck actor, while she's the best casting director around. One day during a meeting, Sutton's client mistakes her for someone else sharing her name and assumes that she has a fiance. Her client is very family oriented, so she just rolls with it and immediately gets on casting someone to fill the role. Reeve needs the job, but he also likes Sutton. It doesn't hurt that she's promised him his biggest audition yet if he agrees.

If you've been following me for awhile, you know that the fake relationship turned real is probably my favorite romance trope, so of course I enjoyed Pretending He's Mine. I especially loved that there was no kind of manipulation to start the fake relationship and that there was no needless drama at the end to make the lovers realize that they were really into each other. Sutton and Reeve just agree on a mutually beneficial situation, and it's made even better by the fact they really do have some serious chemistry going on and can't keep their hands off of each other!

Pretending He's Mine was just a cute, fun, quick read. My rating was wavering at one point, but then that hilarious twist happened! I totally did not see that one coming and I loved it! Reeve's speech at the end and his gift were also the best. It left me grinning like a fool, but also craving more!
