I really enjoyed getting to know Reed and Darcy better. This is my second book by London, and she really knows how to craft a great hero and heroine.

Reed seemed all bad-boy, love-em-and-leave-em, but in reality, it was fear and his past, which keep him from looking for more in a relationship. He hid his real self away, but for some reason, was able to share bits of himself with Darcy.

And the sweet and sassy librarian, Darcy, was grappling with trusting herself and others, as well as a bit of an inferiority complex. Watching her regain her confidence and work though her issues was very rewarding, and I love that it was Reed, who brought out this side of her.

The romance was hotter and deeper than either of these two thought it was, and I liked seeing the sparks fly between them. I enjoyed the teasing, the tension, and the banter.

Overall: This was a fabulous hate-to-love romance, which made me smile and swoon.
