Remy is a girl on a mission. After a quarantine area was overrun with zombies and she finds out that her brother was taken away while everyone else was left to die, she heads out to find him. Accompanied by Harlow (an immature 13 year old), she tracks cross country, trying to find him. Along the way, she meets up with "Ripley", a lioness that was used in Vegas shows, Lazlo, a former rock star, and Blue, a medical student. Together, this group of friends blaze a trail across the country and through zombies.....all to find Remy's brother.

I like zombie books, even though zombies themselves scare the crap out of me, and this was a good one. It was never explained how the disease started....just that it totally wiped out the world. The zombies themselves were disgusting.

Lazlo annoyed me throughout most of the book. But, then again, I think the author meant from him to be annoying. He did annoy Remy through about 90% of the book...lol.

Will I read this book again? Yes and I want to read Book#2.

Will I reccomend this book to family and friends? Yes.
