This is a knock out debut novel that is not just your ordinary retelling of Cinderella, no this is a magical weaving on the story you all ready know. In this story we have a Librarian who is tasked with fulfilling fairy tales to save the kingdom of Valenica and our Librarian is tasked with Cinderella. Yes all the elements are in this story from the fairy tale you have the mean step mother, the glass slippers and of course the amazing pumpkin carriage. What is added is the Librarian and that makes this retelling stand out from the original. The ending is a nail biter that leaves you wanting the next story which may or may not involve some giants.
