I am so surprised by the side of Duncan we got to see in this book. The source of his trust issues broke my heart, and made me love this farm boy even more. Amber's backstory was sort of heartbreaking too, and I totally wanted to punch her mother in the throat, but I was glad Jamieson went in the direction she did with Amber and her family.

I really adored these two together, and was overjoyed that they were able to find their HEA.
