Seduction and Snacks by Tara Sivec

Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1)

by Tara Sivec

Claire is a twenty-something, single mom that grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life.

When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time.

With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim to none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Oh. My. God. I am ill-equipped to review this book. Any words I have will not do it justice. It is rude, crude, and EXACTLY how I think. Only a lot more funny that I am in my own head. My friend, Author Tiffany King, realized this and actually purchased this for me to ensure I read it. And I didn't pick it up right away either. Several people suggested I wait until I was in a reading slump. So I did.

Holy hell this book is funny. I read it in one sitting. I couldn't stop. I don't think anyone in this book has a filter between their brain and their mouth. Which makes for some very awkward and uncomfortable situations for everyone.

The whole story is cute, crude, hilarious, and heartwarming. I suggest it to everyone, even if you don't think you like contemporary romance. At least give it a shot. :-)
