The Maze Runner is a mediocre introduction to a lacklustre story. I didn't feel anything towards the characters, they were neither likeable or intentionally bad characters, I only felt as though I had any feelings towards the characters that were created by watching the movie prior to reading the book as it felt as though the characters were written with no personalities.
