Gina has hated cops since childhood and Rick is the most by the book cop in New Jersey. But somehow, after several fights that almost land Gina in jail, the mismatched pair make magic in the bedroom.
I laughed harder than I have in a long time at Gina’s antics. Some I could go along with, but Rick just couldn’t let them slide. I thought I might make it through the whole book without crying. That might have been my downfall. I enjoyed the book so much, when a harsh blow hit the couple, it knocked me sideways and I began to sob. They needed to be together and the mere thought of it not working out had me crying hysterically into my pillow while my hubby and kids wondered if I needed to be sedated. But I knew Kira Archer wouldn’t do that to her readers and thank God I was right. Archer somehow saves the day and gives us the sweet happily ever after Rick and Gina deserved.
