It was nice seeing the Dresden world from an alternate viewpoint, but I did feel like Thomas' voice wasn't all that different from Harry's. Perhaps in a regular-length novel, Butcher would have more time to develop a different feel. I still enjoyed this short story, and wouldn't mind getting to hear from other Dresden characters in between the larger novels.
