Fallon is the type of girl who loves to party and has sex all the time with different guys. She doesn't want a relationship and that's because she is trying to forget about her previous one that destroyed her and sabotaged her chances of finding "the one". The day she starts her internship, she bumps into Cade, a therapy dog handler who volunteers at the hospital. Fallon can't help but feel something for Cade, but will her past come to haunt her and ruin her chances of being happy?
I highly ship Fallon and Cade. These two characters fit so well together. Cade is not how I expected him to be. I thought I was in for a bad boy who volunteers at the hospital. Well, let me tell you that Cade is a freaking sweetheart. He will make your insides mush. He's perfection in a human body. He loves helping kids, he loves dogs (he even has one and his name is Scout!), he's a guy that loves being with his family and doesn't mind acting like a kid with his nieces... You will majorly swoon over him.
I believe Fallon had a lot of self-discover. Her reputation is not a good one, which is why she wants to leave it all behind and focus on her internship and try for the paid position. Cade tries to get with her but Fallon is dead-set focused on her work and doesn't want to date anyone from the hospital, but our Cade is a persistent man. Both of them complimented one another and really fit.
The story is just a tad slow at the beginning, just a bit, but it is a great, funny, quick and enjoyable read. Fans of Just a Little Crush will love reading about Brinley and Ryder, since they make appearances throughout the story.
