I have read four or five of these memoir-cookbooks in the last few months, and this one would have to be my favorite. The writing is compelling, the story is interesting and the recipes are some I would actually like to make. This is the first of this type of book that I'm honestly considering adding to my bookshelves once I return the one I read to the library.
