I can't believe I never wrote a review for The Alpha Drive back when I read it. I was a bookish/writerly community newbie so I didn't realize at the time how important they are. Well, I'm back now that I know! Reflecting on what I remember, TAD's concept was so unique and exciting to me. I remember I kept reading because I wanted to know what was going to happen! I know Kristen had started TAD as a contemporary, so I felt like some of those elements could've been changed, as they took away from the sci-fi/dystopian aspects that really drew me in. Overall, an enjoyable debut!
