My daughter is reading this at school in her
Utah Studies class. We are also reading it together
at home and having some great discussions.

This is a good book for tweens/teen to read about The
Japanese-American Evacuation. The story is told from
a child's point of view, but it is an important story to tell.
It was a sad part of US history.
