**I received a review copy of this book via NetGalley.**

First of all, this was short, but it's totally adorable. I don't take issue with the repetition, because it's such a common, necessary thing in children's books. I mean, that's the market! As I'm a primary caregiver for a baby cousin (mostly because I'm the only one outside her immediate fam she likes), I've seen more baby shows in the past year than I ever would have expected to have to watch, and repetition is totally the thing. I dabbled in child development slightly some years back, too, and repetition was key.

Second, the aforesaid cousin, Solara, would absolutely adore this book. She freaks out over cute things, so this book would make a perfect gift (and I've seen another Little Hoo book, so I'll have to check that out as well) when paired with a similar-shaped owl plushy (which would match Little Hoo's).

Third, the only issue I take with this is that there's a link for a free greeting card, but the site is on maintenance mode, so I've to miss out for now. I hope this doesn't happen once the book is released, because first impressions on the web matter much. I'm also unlikely to remember to revisit later, so.
