Lady Emma's Revenge

Lady Emma Stanton's husband is dead, apparently by his own hand, but she doesn't believe it's right.  She enlists the help of a Bow Street Runner, Sergeant Samuel Ross, who is no gentleman, but in order to ferret out the criminal they must pose as husband and wife and they find that there is an attraction but can they overcome the class distinctions to find a relationship?
 
It did feel like a novella and there were parts where I wanted more story but overall not a bad read.
