I seldom give a book cover 5 Stars but this one is most worthy of that rating. It is a fantastic representation of the story. It makes fabulous use of graphics. Has good composition and title work as well.
So this book was pretty awesome. I was a little bit unsure with the theme as I am not a fan of sci-fi romances but I have read one other superhero themed "romance" awhile back so I jumped into this one with high hopes and like I said, I was not disappointed in the least.
The writing was excellent. The pace was good. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. The author does an excellent job of world building. There wasn't any angst or OW/OM drama. It's a bit of a slow build romance wise, but also very insta at the same time. I know that makes no sense, but you will get what I mean when you read the book. The sex scenes were hot. The secondary characters were interesting and I am sure as the series goes on more and more will be introduced. Both the main characters were very likable. Draco is reluctant to get involved with Rose at the beginning, so we do have some pushing away, but he has a good reason and changes his mind pretty quickly. Rose was a strong heroine, and I loved her relationship with her brother. Lastly, this was all wrapped up in an HFN for the couple and as this is going to be an ongoing series the overall storyline will continue into the other book(s).
This one definitely deserves a HUGE two thumbs up from yours truly. Bring on book two...
