This book just never got me to feel anything, aside for slightly frustration. It kept going round and round on itself, with both main characters clearly showing each other attraction and expressing a desire for more, and yet every time interpreting the other's reaction as a validation that they weren't feeling the same. Urg.
Also, aside for Alex, Connor and the Grandma, none of the other character were establish. The most we get of anyone else in the story is "his friend Mike". There were zero interaction with anyone outside the immediate family, even on outings. It was slightly surreal.
