I wasn't expecting to like this book quite as much as I did but it surprised me.

Jillian is computer stupid and Graham works in IT. After their first meeting, Graham is pleasantly surprised and definitely interested…Jillian comes along shortly after but her relationship with Christian gets in the way of things for a while. And that was probably one of the things that made me roll my eyes down the street. Her insistence on staying with someone when she was thinking about someone else all the time. Graham knows what he wants and he goes after it. Jillian knows what she wants but she’s scared to hurt the guy that she’s always been with and while it’s understandable for a while, when something stops working, it’s time to let it go…and move on.

I thought it took Jillian too long to come to this conclusion. There was nothing about what happened between her and Graham that she can blame on the whole “it’s just happened” excuse. She knew exactly what she was doing and she did it anyway. Sure, I didn’t care one twit about her boyfriend but still, it made Jillian that girl and nobody ever wants to be that girl.

I was kind of bummed for Graham because he was a good guy. He worked hard to take his life in a certain direction and then after all of that hard work, Jillian comes into the picture and the life he always pictured for himself shifts and he realizes that he needs a new plan…but in the end, it all worked out for him so I was happy but still, it would have been awesome if he could have gotten the girl and the job he always wanted but that’s okay. This was still an enjoyable book and while there were things in the book that I wasn’t a fan of (the whole thing with Christian’s dumb ass) but it was still a sweet romance and it was a solid read.
