I'd been pretty harsh on [b:Feedback|22359662|Feedback (Newsflesh, #4)|Mira Grant|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1466918601s/22359662.jpg|41767244], so I put off picking up this collection of Newsflesh short stories for a while. I really shouldn't have, because every single story in this collection made up for the disappointment of Feedback. Each story is well written and brings something new and worthwhile to the series' universe. Amazingly, it does so for the most part without Shaun and Georgia, demonstrating that Grant has built a world that's alive and interesting outside of its main characters. While Feedback made me feel like she needed to stop beating a dead horse, this collection made me want more.
