I was worried about this one. I had read a few meh reviews, and I was worried that Cass was just trying to milk the series. But she didn't. I loved the way we got to spend time with old characters from the previous books, and getting to find out what happened to them. But they aren't just there for a check-in, they are an integral part of the story. I really liked the family aspect. There was so many times that the strong family bonds were put on display, and that made me all warm and fuzzy. The biggest part of the story, is obviously, Eadlyn. I know a lot of people have found her annoying, but she is actually dealing with a lot of changes in her life, and she grows a great deal during the book. I thought Cass did a great job of setting up several favorites (and I am still sort of rooting for the other guy -- read it, you will understand), and there was a great balance of swoon, angst, and humor. A fine addition to a series I love.
