At the start, I was vacillating between empathizing with Nara over the way her father manipulated her and frustrated by the way she was so bratty towards Derek. I was glad to see she began to change her attitude toward Derek...
Derek was a successful, wealthy businessman and yet he lacked confidence - at least around Nara. He was kindness personified though a little frustrated me by the way he capitulated to every whim of Nara's and wouldn't tell her how he felt about her. He was very sweet but I wanted him to develop more of a backbone.
(I did find it humorous that he lived in a big fancy mansion and yet it only had three bedrooms. Convenient for the story but it did seem very unlikely.)
A sweet romance and quirky characters made for a few hours’ enjoyable read.
