One of my co-bloggers always talked about this book, and how she was reading Jenny Han before Jenny Han blew up. Therefore, I was pretty excited to see the audiobook at the library, and I must say, this was one really sweet story about growing up, first love, and complicated families.

My heart book for Annemarie over and over again, but she learned a lot about herself, her family, and her friends. There were a ton of life lessons and lots of growth experienced during this book. Han did a great job capturing the exhilaration of puppy love, the sadness of a broken heart, the distress of changing friendships, and a joy of finding a kindred spirit.
