From the award-winning author of PRINCESS PRINCESS EVER AFTER comes THE TEA DRAGON SOCIETY, a charming all-ages book that follows the story of Greta, a blacksmith apprentice, and the people she meets as she becomes entwined in the enchanting world of tea dragons.
After discovering a lost tea dragon in the marketplace, Greta learns about the dying art form of tea dragon care-taking from the kind tea shop owners, Hesekiel and Erik. As she befriends them and their shy ward, Minette, Greta sees how the craft enriches their lives-and eventually her own.
“Memories don't just live inside you, Minette. They live in all the people and objects you share your life with.”
This was such a delightful and heartwarming story of friendship and continuing legacies. I really enjoyed O'Neill's art style and appreciated the diverse representation that mirrors the world we live in. And all the sweet dragon babies! I LOVE THEM! I wholeheartedly recommend this one and need to get my hands on a copy of Tea Dragon Festival asap.
Representation: characters of color, disabled rep (someone in a wheelchair and someone living with memory loss), LGBTQIAP+ representation
