+Tala may have been raised as a slave, with no knowledge of her magic, but she's not going to give up just because the other priestesses wish her to!
+The magical trials were pretty interesting. Especially during the final one, which really changed the game!
NO!
-Typical world building where white skin is good and brown skin is bad. And women are subservient to men. So being a brown skinned girl is the absolute worst. Not very imaginative at all.
-I had no reason to care about this so-called war, and either did Tala.
