Vicki comes across as a strong and independent woman who can standup for herself when she comes across unwanted attention. Vicki seems like she is at a crossroads in her life before Gavin enters. She is content but not happy with her life outside work.

Gavin is the owner of the gym where Vicky attends and also works as a firefighter. He has been watching her for a while but never approached her. However once he had a reason to approach he jumped at it. I liked that he balanced his approaching her and watching out for her with her being comfortable.

The connection between Vicki and Gavin is intense. I loved that while she is being stalked he tries to help her anyway he can that she will let him. They make a great couple because they each know when to let the other person stand on their own two feet and when to take over. The sex scenes were scorching hot.

I found this book well written with a realistic plot that was not overdone. I enjoyed how the author incorporated romance with the stalking. The main characters and the secondary characters were mesmerizing. While the ending was a little predictable however the book has twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end. I had a hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a very captivating book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.
