I really enjoyed this book! I am a huge sucker for strong women and this did not disappoint! The ending was frustrating but I look forward to the next book in the series!

Truly a badass! She is honest to a fault and her courage and dedication to getting her sister's revenge was admirable. It was so disappointing to see how the system can fail someone and especially since I know this happens in real life. It's nice to dip into a fantasy realm where revenge might be possible! Sometimes she comes off "not like other girls" which is pretty annoying but for the most part, she was pretty down to earth, resourceful, tough, and would fight tooth and nail for her rights.

"Drake"
He was all right. I understand his reasoning but I still couldn't get past seeing him as a coward. Maybe he will get better? Time will tell. He wasn't swoon worthy, but his dedication to his family was pretty sweet nevertheless.

Finding out this is a trilogy that kills me but I am so ready for what comes next! Look forward to future adventures!
