"We screwed up in death, and we are just screwed" This sums up the start of book two very well as Walker and Daniel have broken the only law not to go back to your previous life. Now they have to suffer time at ITT. I really felt for Walker as she suffered at ITT and was under the thumb of the GF.

As we move into the middle of the story Daniel and Walker are offered a mission to retrieve something that buried in history. So they are teamed up with a rag team of oddities and "There will be no more swinging around, on a wish and prayer, fighting demon armies with a bit of brawn and your scrappy little girlfriend at your side". They are trained by best and are accompanied by the best. Walker is trained to use throwing stars and one of my favorite lines from this part of the book says "Have the balls to use them, girlie,. Listen to your Gut. You'll know when to throw and when to run.

As we get towards the end of the story some characters show up that you really are not happy about being their and the fact one particular character is their really burned me and i holding the author to the fact that he will get his just desserts in the end. I am happy about the end and tears were shed and I am excited to see how this mission plays out.
