Bronwyn is a witch, the one-witch secret service to the British Prime Minister, somehow living in the US. Written as a diary she accounts her life as she tries to balance her life with her job, trying to keep her mind on the work while also enjoying the explosions she's able to.

It's readable and I wouldn't be put off reading the others in the series but not a keeper.
