Seal's Kiss by Tawny Weber

Seal's Kiss (Uniformly Hot!, #49) (Uniformly Hot!, #49)

by Tawny Weber

"The goal of Mission: Engagement is simple--a fake engagement concocted to bring happiness to Sage Taylor's ailing father. The Rules: 1) Treat it like a military mission, 2) Keep the truth undercover, 3) The "engagement" lasts as long as the professor's health depends on it; and 4) No sex...especially with each other! But the incredibly spirited (and a touch quirky) Sage has never been one for rules. Especially when they involve Aiden's rock-hard navy bod and a ton of smokin'-hot sexual attraction. Which means in order to seduce this sexy SEAL, she'll have to completely outmaneuver him"--Page 4 of cover.

This is the fourth book in the Uniformly Hot Seals series and like the other books it can be read as a standalone. In this installment we are introduced to Sage Taylor a free spirit, but her friends considered her to be a bit flaky. Why? She has a commitment phobia. This applies not merely to her relationships, but likewise to her inability to remain in one job for too long. Her actions indicate that she is searching for that perfect thing/someone who would make her life complete. She may just find that in Aiden Masters.

Chief Petty Officer Aiden Masters knew Sage all his life. Aiden was a gifted child and he was mentored by Sage’s dad. He became an orphan at seventeen and he came to live with the Taylors on a permanent basis.

All of the Sage’s friends were now married and they were intent on seeing her tie the knot as such, they tried every means to match her up with someone. She however was having none of this as such she pretended that she was engaged to Aiden unbeknown to him. Little did she know that her plan would backfire.

The interaction between these two was rather entertaining. Talk about opposites attract, these two were a walking advertisement for this adage. When Aiden found out what Sage did he agreed to keep the façade going for the sake of her father, however, he was determined to set some rules. However, there was one particular rule, he had a hard time sticking to.

The characters are fun and entertaining. The story pulls you in and you can't help but to continue reading to find out what next Sage had up her sleeve. I loved the fact that the main characters evolved throughout the book.

If you like your romance novels sweet, sexy and entertaining, then A Seal’s Kiss would be a great addition to your collection.
