Elizabeth Stevens' birthday is not going well-- not only is it also the anniversary of her husband's desertion, but she has to make a wedding cake for him! Things start looking up, however, when her slightly witchy grandmother Verda passes on some ancient Gypsy magic to her.
I got this as a free Kindle book so I wasn't expect a whole lot in the way of plot or...really anything but this was actually pretty good. It's a fairly short book but it has a original plot (at least for me) and likable and down to earth characters. I don't know if I"ll buy the second one but I'm seriously thinking about it.
