- First Date: I loved the setup for how Pierce Whitfield and Rian Sutter. It was awkward, snarky and the chemistry between them zinged. Pierce is spending the time in the Hamptons helping his brother flip houses after a debacle at his family firm where he works as their patent lawyer. Rian and her twin sister spent their childhood in the Hamptons until their family lost everything. The two sisters live together and sell real estate while diligently saving to buy their first home to flip. I loved the setup and couldn't wait to see Pierce and Rian tango.
- Second Date: I loved the second encounter between these two. Pierce finds himself quite smitten with Rian and loves the thrill of the chase. Rian on the other handle is in deep denial, despite the sexy dreams she's having nightly about him. She refuses to believe he is truly interested. Rian is the more reserved twin and doesn't see herself as desirable, particularly by Mr. Yummy. But the Hamptons is small and soon these two are bumping into each other everywhere. I loved the banter and the interaction with both of their siblings. It wasn't long before the inevitable happened and it was hot, a little funny and felt genuine.
- Third Date: I loved seeing the competition between families and when these two got together with their siblings the teasing banter, and tension pulled me in. Complications arise when Rian thinks Pierce and her brother have betrayed them. The girls have secrets and once Pierce figures it out everything falls into place. Thankfully, the drama wasn't overdone and allowed for character growth, declarations and plenty of swoons-worthy, melt your heart moments.
I listened to I Flipping Love You and delighted in Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan's narration. I felt they captured everyone's voice, the playful tone and the sexual energy. From pacing to tone they compliment each other allowing for smooth transitions and happy ears.
